Rand and Michelle were high school friends with memories that go back to Michelle’s 16th birthday at Cribb’s Kitchen in Spartanburg.
How perfect it was then that they rekindled their friendship when a cousin set them up on a date after college. Rand and Michelle quickly grew close and simply knew they had each met their match. Michelle refers to him as “My Rand” and truly glows when she talks about him; and Rand simply lights up whenever she looks up at him.
After nearly a year, Rand found the perfect way to propose. He sent a pink rose and a beautiful letter to Michelle which held a “clue”. That clue so appropriately sent her driving to Cribb’s Kitchen where her brother met her with yet another rose and a beautiful letter. At last, the chain of letters brought her finally to Rand who waited for her at the home he was building for them in Boiling Springs. It was here that he proposed… and of course, she said, yes!
Rand and Michelle married in December, surrounded by their closest friends and families. They celebrated their love with a beautiful, personal ceremony in a small chapel on Pawley’s Island. Then, they danced the night away at the exquisitely warm and beautiful Caledonia Golf and Fish Club. Michelle wore an elegant, fitted lace covered gown and carried a bouquet of red roses designed by Greenskeeper Florals. Her cake design was by Pawley’s Island Bakery. Stox and Co. designed her hair. The D.J. was Paul Matthews Entertainment.
