The Bloom Forum Project 52 || 33/52
Do you remember what it’s like to play,
to run in your favorite “go-faster” shoes,
to imagine flying just by lifting your arms,
to feel the wind tug at your hair,
to think the day might last forever?
Sometimes I get so bogged down with life and in planning for tomorrow, that I forget to be in the moment. I forget what’s like to be a kid and I need to be reminded that the heart needs to play, to laugh, and to take flight.

In the following weeks and months, I will be posting photographs based thematically on a 52 week challenge I’ve accepted through The Bloom Forum. Each post will feature a photograph that may be quite outside my usual style and will be followed by a link to another photographer’s post from the challenge group who will in turn link to yet another photographer’s post (usual around 10-15 participants). So take a trip around the globe (we are international) to see different interpretations of this week’s theme.
Loooooooove these! I am going to have to find 1. an airplane 2. a field with blue skies & white clouds 3. an afternoon with my son to try this out! What a great image. I would frame one of these!
Amazing Jen. The sky, the clouds, the action – LOVE!
Precious! Love the colors, too! I wish as adults we could run through a field like this without looking nutty! lol!
These are really great! They really move!
Adore these pictures. You totally captured a boy being, well,a boy. Love it.
[...] please go check out my very good friend Jen of Jennifer Bruss Photography – South Carolina Family Portrait Photographer to see her take on this week’s [...]
Love these Jen! I have to remind myself too to slow down and actually enjoy myself because I get so caught up in everything that has to get done. I love how it looks like he’s coming down a runway about to fly out of the picture!
