Related // Week 9 / Project 52

Last week, I missed posting my Project 52 for the first time in 13 months! I had made a trip two weeks ago to the awesome “Breaking the Rules” workshop with David E. Jackson in Wisconsin (which I will blog about soon!) Then last weekend I went to a Zack Arias’ critique in his studio in Atlanta (such a great experience. Please go if you get the opportunity!) With only a week in between, I just didn’t get to it. So happy to be back on track and posting again this week!

Last year, Hunter asked if she could include her beautiful sister, Murphy, in her session so that she could give her mother a gift. I said ABSOLUTELY! I LOVE to photograph relationships. It’s absolutely my favorite thing to photograph. There are always opportunities, even in a senior session to grab a relationship shot. These sisters are something special… from their amazing friendship to their mutual passion for their horses. I so enjoyed this session and getting to know them both. Here are some of those photographs from that session.

This year, I have joined with 16 other photographers across the world from the Bloom Forum to make a circle of photographs with our blogs each week. In that circle, each photographer links to another’s unique interpretation of the weekly theme. After viewing my pictures, please be sure to visit the very talented Jessica Nelson next at The Gaggle Photography in Dayton MD to see her “Related” photograph for this week.
